Mailing Lists
There are several mailing lists that exist to distribute information about algebraic geometry activities, in the UK and beyond.
- Details of upcoming COW activities are usually circulated by e-mail. UK mathematicians, including research students, interested in algebraic geometry in the wide sense may (and probably should) subscribe to the COW mailing list. To do so, follow the instructions at https://listserv.csv.warwick.ac.uk/mailman/listinfo/cowalggeom
- The erstwhile European algebraic geometry network EAGER still exists in the form of a useful electronic mailing list called eager-gen, which you may wish to join. To do so, visit https://www.listserv.dfn.de/sympa/info/eager-gen
- The London Geometry and Toplogy seminar also runs a mailing list. To join it, follow the instructions at https://mailman.ic.ac.uk/mailman/listinfo/geometry
- A vital resource for all geometers is the e-print server arXiv. For algebraic geometry math.AG is the most important category, but some other categories are also relevant. They publish a daily email alert with details of new preprints submitted to each category; to subscribe, visit https://arxiv.org/help/subscribe and follow the instructions.
